Hi there. I'm really excited to be able to share the final mix of my next single, 'Smile (No Fox Gibbon)'. This song is all about something that I know is a massive weakness of mine; the ability to smile and laugh without tempering your emotions because you're too worried about who's watching. Picture an image of you at your happiest; maybe it's out at the pub with friends, at home with your family having a take-away... you're smiling at silly things, laughing at jokes etc etc. And then picture yourself walking to work, on the bus/train... even if you see something funny or beautiful... or if you hear something funny on a podcast... most of us actively swallow a smile/giggle because we care so much about what people will think. In that moment you are your true self and half a second later you've curbed it. But the truth is, most of us feel that way so if we all just gave a little bit less of a f**k about letting ourselves go in public, then we would ALL be happier.
